The IUCN Academy and the Ascent Partners Foundation have announced a partnership to bring professional conservation education to Hong Kong, opening access to all certificate programmes and free introductory courses — with all net proceeds directed to local conservation efforts led by IUCN NGO members in Hong Kong.
The Multi-Faith and Multi-Cultural Dialogue Round Table brought together 24 participants from ten countries and multiple faith traditions for a morning of open conversation, listening, and mutual learning. Organized by Ascent Partners Foundation with co-organizers Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation and Refugee Union, the dialogue demonstrated that shared values — respect, kindness, compassion, and belonging — can bridge cultural and religious differences to strengthen community inclusion in Hong Kong.
The Innovation Finance for Development side event at the UNESCAP 82nd Commission convened senior policymakers, UN officials, international organizations, and mission-driven capital partners to explore how innovative financing can accelerate inclusive growth, climate resilience, biodiversity protection, and sustainable infrastructure across Asia and the Pacific.
